Advanced track: a second certificate
After the core course, learners can continue with four advanced modules (about 2.5 hours including the exam). Completing all four, passing a 16-question final exam at 80% or higher, and finishing the course evaluation earns a separate certificate of completion: Practical AI for the Workplace: Advanced Applications.
The advanced track also includes the Chatbot Simulator, a practice lab where learners handle simulated customer chats with live mood feedback and coaching, then design, test and export their own support bot.
Advanced 1 · about 30 minAI for Meetings and Documents
- Turn a meeting transcript or rough notes into a summary with decisions, action items, owners and dates.
- Draft a report, slide outline or one-page brief from your notes with a clear structure.
- Write a step-by-step how-to guide (SOP) with AI and check it against how the work is really done.
Advanced 2 · about 30 minAI for Data and Spreadsheets
- Describe what you need in plain words and get a working spreadsheet formula, with an explanation.
- Use AI to plan a cleanup of messy data and check the results before using them.
- Turn a table of numbers into a short written summary and a suggested chart, verifying every figure.
Advanced 3 · about 35 minBuild Your Own AI Assistant
- Explain what a custom AI assistant is and which tools offer one as of October 2026.
- Write clear standing instructions and choose safe reference files for an assistant.
- Test, share and maintain an assistant so it stays accurate and approved.
Advanced 4 · about 30 minAI for Customer Service
- Draft customer replies with AI that match your brand voice and policies.
- Build and maintain an FAQ and saved replies from real customer questions.
